Platform & Experience
Vision:
Fun dances and activities! I love advocating for youth, and I also love to plan social events for everyone, and have a ton of ideas for helping student government! I will work actively with our class, and the other classes, student clubs and organizations, and the administration to make our experience fun — and unique to Country Day. I also want to make our events bigger and better!
Country Day spirit! I would love to bring back some of the Country Day spirit that our school has started to lose— by increasing attendance at Homecoming events, sporting events and major club events and competitions.
New traditions! In addition to Country Day’s best traditions, like Capture the Flag at Ancil Hoffman, I want to start some new traditions to celebrate what makes Country Day unique.
Listening. I also want to listen to you, and your experience, and help make the next 3 years better for our class.
Experience:
I like working with and for other youth, and I work all year long to improve experiences for high school students and youth around our state and local community. I’d like to help do the same for our school.
Recently, I advised the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls about improving high school student ID cards around the state, to include a domestic violence hotline number.
In middle school, I improved the Country Day experience for the Class of 2027 and others. From throwing better middle school dances, to advocating for period products in the bathroom, to getting new basketball hoops and more tables in the middle school courtyard, I listened to classmates, and worked to get them get what they want and need from life at SCDS. I will do the same this year if I am elected!
